It can be an absolutely white knuckles maze of one-way streets for new users, and its "quirks" can frustrate experienced users. (we haven't yet figured how to escape from post-installation menu of pkg's, where ESC key is "search for pkg" :))) ) As a FreeBSD fan (but a non-programmer who can't contrib to fixing sysinstall), I really hope this "first hurdle" every FreeBSD first-time user encounters will be removed or lowered.
