Can't even imagine how adding "-O -pipe" can affect finding stdio.h. It
seems that the bug is elsewhere and my change itself was correct and just
triggers that bug. Maybe gcc is broken somehow. How do you plan to
trace/resolve it?  Do you have the same result on your machine, or it is
for 'some folks' only?
