That may explain the problems with c&p that I'm seeing from evo as well? 
  I don't know, I use very few gtk apps.  If I open up the same email in 
a web-based mail client, I can c&p no problem, just going from evo to 
the browser causes issues (tries to smoosh the entire email into one line).
