 I don't know if this is a bug, but adding an option to your ppp.conf file
will fix it.

 I believe the magic command is:

disable iface-alias

 so just add that to your default: section (or whatever you've called your
connection) and most likely restart ppp and your multiple entries will no
longer be a problem.

 The other replyer also mentioned searching the archives, which is also
true. This question has popped up quite a few times. I know I've
personally answered it at least 3 times in the last while.
