Hello!
I just construct an DCF77 reciver for the serial port (IX magazine
10.95). It works well, but I can only decode sensless data with
'testdcf' out of the /usr/src/contrib/xntpd/parse/util directory from a
serial port. A few details:
- Connection to the serial port (9 pin):
pin 4 (DTR) : VCC +
pin 3 (TxD) : VCC -
pin 2 (RxD) : data from DCF modul
- When I start testdcf with port /dev/tty01 or /dev/ttyd1 the DCF
modul begins to work ( a led flashes secondly ) but the program
hangs in the line fd = open(file, O_RDONLY). It only starts
correctly when I use /dev/cua01.
- After this it only decodes trash, but no usefull information:
- #-????-?-?-???----??????#-?----?-??-?????-?? *** BAD FORMAT (invalid/parity)
- --??-??-???-???#---?---????-????????#------- *** BAD FORMAT (invalid/parity)
- ??-????#---?-??#--??#-----#--??#-?-?--??#-?? *** BAD FORMAT (invalid/parity)
- ???-?#?---?-?#-?#?-??-?-?????-?#-?---??-??-? *** BAD FORMAT (invalid/parity)
- ?-?????????#?-?------?#---??-?-?????#-????-? *** BAD FORMAT (invalid/parity)
- #--?-??#?---??---???-#-?-#---?-?-?-?-??--??- *** BAD FORMAT (invalid/parity)
- ##???#-???#---????--?#--?-?---?#??-?-?????#- *** BAD FORMAT (invalid/parity)
I also try the testdcf from the current-disribution! The same
results!
Who can help, what is with the dcf device in MAKEDEV? I have applied
all the patches for 1.1.5.1!
Thanks for help
Lars
