Actually, the preferred form of this trick is to make it go away when a character is written and more than a second or so has elapsed since the mouse was last moved. So as soon as you start typing, it disappears, but when you move it it comes back, and if you're snarfing something while something somewhere else is changing the pointer doesn't keep vanishing on you. > Soren Schmidt (sos@FreeBSD.org) FreeBSD Core Team -- ]] Mike Smith, Software Engineer msmith@atrad.adelaide.edu.au [[ ]] Genesis Software genesis@atrad.adelaide.edu.au [[ ]] High-speed data acquisition and (GSM mobile) 0411-222-496 [[ ]] realtime instrument control (ph/fax) +61-8-267-3039 [[ ]] Collector of old Unix hardware.
