With the patch kernel installed, I was able to complete a
buildworld/buildkernel
of the tip of stable/10, and reinstalled the entire system.

So far, everything looks good.

I'm building release media now, and will install it onto a V120 (uniprocessor)
and see how that goes too.

I definately think this patch is a candidate for 10.2, if it can still
make the release train.
