Good Day,

Having a little bit of an issue reformatting one of our older Compaq
DL360 G1s. FreeBSD 4.10 installs on it fine, but FreeBSD 5.2.1 stalls
during the boot up probes (just after the time counter probe).

The box is running the latest bios, but not sure if there's some
compatibility issue between this older hardware and the 5.2.1 release.

Has anyone encountered similar difficulties, or know of a way to work
around this problem? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
