Hi:

I can copy french caracters from Netscape and paste them into an xterm
with the following configurations:

% cat /etc/login.conf
default|...:\
	....
	:charset=iso-8859-1:\
	...

% cat /etc/rc.conf
...
font8x8="iso-8x8"
font8x14="iso-8x14"
font8x16="iso-8x16"

Netscape is configured with 'Western (iso-8859-1)

***********************************************************
But I cannot copy french caracters from an xterm and paste them into a
Netscape e-mail window. The french caracters get suppressed.

Implicated material:
- FreeBSD 3.3
- Netscape 3.04 or 4.61

Do you know a configuration which permits copying french caracters from
an xterm into a netscape e-mail window ?

Many thanks for your help
