Hack on it in /dev/kmem using a debugger or otherwise, or use sysctl: sysctl -a | grep udpcksum # to find the name and value sysctl net.inet.udp.checksum # to read the value when its # (inconsistent) name is known sysctl -w net.inet.udp.checksum=1234 # to write the value Using sysctl is by far the best method for those variables that sysctl supports.
