https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D278413 Bug ID: 278413 Summary: www/chromium: --headless seems to be broken Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: chromium@FreeBSD.org Reporter: openjdk@getsnappy.com Flags: maintainer-feedback?(chromium@FreeBSD.org) Assignee: chromium@FreeBSD.org During my latest upgrade, some of my Nagios monitors broke. I am using Pyt= hon webdriver to control Chrome in headless mode through the chromedriver built= as part of www/chromium. The error message I received was: raise exception_class(message, screen, stacktrace) selenium.common.exceptions.SessionNotCreatedException: Message: session not created: Chrome failed to start: exited normally. (chrome not reachable) (The process started from chrome location /usr/local/bin/chrome is no lon= ger running, so ChromeDriver is assuming that Chrome has crashed.) Testing --headless from the command line with the following command fails to save a screenshot and exits with the normal exit code 0. So, in short, it seems like --headless just doesn't work correctly anymore.=20 /usr/local/bin/chrome --headless --disable-gpu --screenshot=20 https://www.google.com I first noticed with the build chromium-122.0.6261.111. I also tried using the most recent version, chromium-123.0.6312.122. With a little work, I reverted back to chromium-118.0.5993.88, and everythi= ng worked as expected. The command line generates a screenshot, and my tests using Python webdriver pass. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
