At one point I remember a discussion that DAT backup drives have a media
sensor on it and the DAT tapes are encoded depending on their intended
use.  The audio ones are poorer quality I guess and the DAT drives will
reject them.  So I don't think that'll work at all, unless you have a
drive that says it supports audio tapes too.
