Wilko, I mean that we should make a list which should be like "core packages". My proposal is: 1. cvsup 2. gmake 3. samba 4. kde-2* stuff 5. apache 6. mod_php 7. mod_ssl 8. gnome stuff 9. windowmaker This is what we should take care more carefully before release and start codefreeze for this and their dependencies along with sourcecode codefreeze to make sure all of them will compile/install/run properly. Please, add to this list anything that makes sense of "core packages". And, yes, I can help in this testing.
