Afterwards I uncommented out the PCMCIA stuff in the generic kernel along with adding support for sound. Added an entry in /etc/pccard.conf using vi no tabs. Rebooted. Added the following to rc.conf: pccard_enable="YES" apm_enable="YES" pccaed_beep="2" no card in database is what I'm getting.
