That may just be a display bug.  Does "diskinfo -t da0" report
reasonable speeds?  If not, check your bios to see if you are forcing a
slow speed, or try running "camcontrol negotiate da0 -R 160" to force
320MB speeds (160 Mhz * 16 bit bus = 320MB).
