It was on the order of a 1000 ports. I understood that the nag messages warned that after a certain port this would happen. The actual reset was not mailed though. I haven't seen the nag messages myself, but I am under the impression they were sent for months on a periodic basis. It's not big deal, just reclaim the ports if you want.
