use "script -a urnamefile" and this will append everything written on =
the
screen to this file and for just having errors u can do "make >& =
urnamefile"
this way u would hae only the errors of the command u execute

Hi, how can I get the output of a make into a file? or how can I get
whatever is printed on the screen into a file? I need to post annother
question on why I am having errors when I try to install a program by
running make.
