I think this is a good goal, but I'm not sure exactly how to get there. Your suggestion might work. The releng page is an example of how *not* to do this...I have no idea, for example, if our listing of portmgr@ members is correct. (It probably isn't.) At one point I was -> <- this close from getting rid of it and putting a pointer to some portmgr@-maintained list of its membership...but I couldn't find one.
