I haven't gotten to 100 yet, but I too use this mechanism to
preserve many windows that I want to look at again later.  I also
just put the tab-bar over on the right, so I can see and easily
select any of the first 20+ windows.  When I get far over that, I
know it's time to clean up some of the old windows.

Opera's ability to save windows when it crashes or is closed is my
absolute favorite feature, and would make it my browser of choice
even if it were as slow as Mozilla or as poor as NSCP 4.x.
