Subject: Weirdness with pthreads in -current

I've been working on set of Objective C threads framework around
pthreads and have come up against something a bit strange.

If I call pthread_join(3) on a thread that's called sleep(3),
pthread_join returns a value of `3', but errno isn't touched. If
I remove the call to sleep inside of the thread, pthread_join works
just fine.

Pthread_join, BTW, does wait for the thread to die in both conditions,
so it does its job correctly, but just returns some kind of bogus
value when sleep is called.

I suspect this may be for all sorts of signal conditions, but this
is the one I ran into.

This is -current from 28-May-1998, BTW.
