(no keyboard or network response -- forcing the dreaded reset-button approach). The video card is a Diamond Stealth 64 DRAM PCI. Things seemed to be ok running the package as distributed with 2.2.6-RELEASE under this build of 2.2.7-STABLE. Configuration files and the X -> XF86_SVGA link do not appear modified by the build. XF86Setup *does* run using the simple driver but also freezes when it tries to start the selected driver. Restoring the "original" XF86_SVGA (dated Mar 1 02:10) does not solve the problem. Restoring the original /usr/X11R6 heirarchy *does* restore functionality. There is not a version of the package on ftp.FreeBSD.org in the packages-STABLE area that I could find at this time. Any suggestions? (other than stick with what works ;-) Jeff To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
