You included the source file itself but there is no indication as to what exactly was changed. diff -u bootp_subr.c.old bootp_subr.c would be good enough. Or if you have the sources checked out with cvs, cvs diff -u bootp_subr.c I think this would generate a quicker response. As for the idea itself, it sounds reasonable.
