Alright, it seems I managed to start my server with the newly compiled driv=
er:

re0: Using Memory Mapping!
re0: Using 1 MSI-X message
re0: ASPM disabled
re0: version:1.96.04

There were no "module_register" errors in the dmesg, but looking at the out=
put,
this is the new driver.

I'll try to do some load tests in the upcoming days and see what gives.
