Copy the script to a writable filesystem. Make whatever modifications are needed. Of course, that would only be necessary if e.g. ``/compat/linux/bin/sh /cdrom/install.sh'' didn't do what is expected. Someone else (wisely) suggested wrapping this kind of thing in a port.
