In trying to track reproduce some hard drive errors that caused my machine
to hang while doing a build world I performed a:

dd if=/dev/wd0 bs=1024k | dd if=/dev/wd0 bs=1024k

wd0: 2014MB (4124736 sectors), 4092 cyls, 16 heads, 63 S/T, 512 B/S
...

after that the dd stopped with an Input/Output Error

Do I need to replace this drive?
