When I try "tar" or "dd" on the tape an error st0(ncr1:1:0): Deferred Error: RECOVERED ERROR asc:a,0 Error log overflow signals after approx. 100-300 MB transferred. "tar" and "dd" signals "/dev/rst0 Input/Output error". I know SCSI controller and the tape works correctly - I use them under MS Windows NT with MS Backup (over 8 GB wrotes with validation without any error). Can I use this tape under FreeBSD ?
