I guess the symlink was all that > I was missing. After moving the CD from the CD-Read/Write drive to the IDE CDROM, it not only does not boot, but it no longer can be mounted. Putting it back into the CD-Read/Write, it spits it back out and will not mount it either. -- Crist J.
