>Environment:
System: FreeBSD 6.0-RELEASE GENERIC amd64
>Description:
Experience with FreeBSD 6.0-RELEASE (amd64 or i386) on ASUS A8V-MX:

- ACPI not functional
(if the APIC mapping is disabled in bios the board does not panic with acpica
module loaded)

- onboard SATA gets recognized as GENERIC ATA only, does not work with
SATA RAID BOOTROM enabled in BIOS.

- onboard ethernet controller is functional (no problems experienced).

Board chipset: VIA K8M800 (with integrated S3 graphics)
