Of course, if you're using procmail (and why aren't you ? :), something like <comment> Avoid duplicates (by Message ID) :0 Wh: msgid.lock | formail -D 16384 msgid.cache put at the top of your procmailrc works just fine and you don't need to remember to run anything periodically...
