I meant the actual teletypes, both the ASR-21 (I believe) and the newer ASR-33 or some such number. The former needed keypress forces of more than a pound. They didn't even have a screen, paper roll only, well, and puch . But you're right about having to reprint in ed. But this was just after the IBM 029 and hollerith cards, so I wasn't complaining ;).
