Hello Tor,

Thanks for your comments. I'll try the following when I've time tuesdaynight or
wednesday morning:

1. something like your patch so pushing and popping edi and esi in bios.S.
   if this works we have made a strong case that this bios is flawed.

2. get the latest bios for this board from Intel, install it and see if this one
needs the patches.

Hopefully we can close this case then.
