I posted a query a few weeks ago enquiring about an error that happens when I'm trying to write to a scsi cdr from a scsi hdd. From the logs: Aug 28 19:41:22 pumbaa kernel: attempt to access beyond end of device Aug 28 19:41:22 pumbaa kernel: 08:03: rw=0, want=1651065377, limit=6144862 I can't find the message I posted or Doug's reply, but was wondering if the problem had been fixed? Last time the error occurred (for me) was with 2.1.120/pre8. Sep 14 19:29:53 pumbaa kernel: attempt to access beyond end of device Sep 14 19:29:53 pumbaa kernel: 08:03: rw=0, want=199173552, limit=6144862 I've only been using 2.1.122/pre10 for a few days but the error has not yet occurred again. -Greg ------------------------------------------------------------------ Network Operations Center Manager Dr. Greg Wickham Information Technology Services ______________________________ Deakin University Voice: (+61 3) 5227 8844 Geelong VIC 3217 eMail: G.Wickham@deakin.edu.au Australia WWW: http://www.cm.deakin.edu.au/~gjw ------------------------------------------------------------------ wheNufiNdu'RselFindAngeRwheNu'rThreAtenEdbyAstrAngeRwheNitlOoksLik To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-aic7xxx" in the body of the message
