Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: python@FreeBSD.org Reporter: true.bugman@gmail.com Flags: maintainer-feedback?(python@FreeBSD.org) Assignee: python@FreeBSD.org The current py27-numpy 1.11.1,1 source and package is not usable due to segfaults. This appears to be related to the BLAS libraries. I have tried compiling against all 3 libraries, but the segfault is always present. To reproduce: $ python Python 2.7.12 (default, Oct 29 2016, 14:13:15)=20 [GCC 4.2.1 Compatible FreeBSD Clang 3.8.0 (tags/RELEASE_380/final 262564)] = on freebsd11 Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information. >>> import numpy >>> numpy.test('full') Running unit tests for numpy NumPy version 1.11.1 NumPy relaxed strides checking option: False NumPy is installed in /usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/numpy Python version 2.7.12 (default, Oct 29 2016, 14:13:15) [GCC 4.2.1 Compatible FreeBSD Clang 3.8.0 (tags/RELEASE_380/final 262564)] nose version 1.3.7 ...........................................................................= ...........................................................................= ...........................................................................= ............Segmentation fault (core dumped) $ Setting the verbose flag gives some more info: >>> numpy.test('full', verbose=3D10) [snip] test_einsum_all_contig_non_contig_output (test_einsum.TestEinSum) ... ok test_einsum_broadcast (test_einsum.TestEinSum) ... ok test_einsum_errors (test_einsum.TestEinSum) ... ok test_einsum_fixed_collapsingbug (test_einsum.TestEinSum) ... ok test_einsum_fixedstridebug (test_einsum.TestEinSum) ...
