The DOWNLOAD_URL in java/linux-sun-jdk16 and java/linux-sun-jre16 could better reflect this move and make it easier for users to find the files if it points to somewhere like: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk6u35-downloads-1836443.html or http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javasebusiness/downloads/java-archive-downloads-javase6-419409.html Also, on the same topic, will this archival affect the existence of these ports? Will it stick around as long as the files do or until someone (whoever that is) decides it's not longer needed?
