I had the same troubles w/o CPUTYPE here. The only remarkable anomaly I could find, was a core dump (lzip.core) in work/OOo_1.1.4_src/instsetoo/util, same happend for the openoffice-1.1-devel port. I'm running 5.3-STABLE #0: Sun Dec 26 17:44:27 CET 2004, w/ all port dependencies compiled from scratch. I also tried to compile openoffice-1.1-devel w/ flag WITH_DEBUG=2 set, but the build failed somewhere else. I just started a buils of build openoffice-1.1 w/ flag WITH_DEBUG=1 set, to find out why lzip core dumps. If the build succeeds I will post a gdb backtrace of lzip.core to the group.
