This is an xscale cpu. There's support for the CPU and assocaited compoents in NetBSD. 4 different evaluation boards in NetBSD/evbarm. There doesn't appaer to be anything specific for the MobilePro 900 however. Earlier MobilePro models are supported by NetBSD/hpcmips. FreeBSD has support for this processor as well. However, it isn't as well integrated into FreeBSD as it is in NetBSD. There are some missing files that should just port over w/o much of a hassle. There's some work in this regard in p4 right now to support the 'Gumstick' which also is has the PXA250. If you are lucky, you can use the video drivers from the NetBSD/hpcmips support for earlier versions in the family. I've run NetBSD/hpcmips on a MobilePro 770, 780 and 790 and these are nice little machines. Warner
