Well, my ISP actually figured out what my problem was. It was right out
of hte FAQ (which I searched). Apparently I'm supposed to, as you said,
remove the compression. Disabling this feature got it working.
Thanks for responding!
Actually now I have another question. :) I recently had some problems
with getting my Intel EtherExpress Pro/10 board to work. I was able to get
it working by turning off PnP from the BIOS. Unfortunately, I think there
is something wrong. FreeBSD identifies the ethernet address as:
ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
correct me if I'm wrong, but that doesn't seem right. :-) It gave me a
warning saying that the EEPROM had 0 as the IRQ. Putting this in the
kernel doesn't work.
I can ping myself and even telnet to myself after I configure ex0, but it
won't see the rest of my LAN. (I have an Amiga running a TCP/IP stack on
the other end) So if ping 10.1.1.1, I should get ACKS from the Amiga, but
alas that isn't the case.
It is days like this that my .sig makes a lot of sense. ;)
