There's no INDEX-9 available yet from 'make fetchindex' or by portsnap.
Either build your own index, or try pkg_version(1) -- if you don't use
the '-I' flag, this compares the versions of installed packages against
the version from the port's Makefile. Assumes you have the ports tree
checked out on your system.
