I got a kernel message, "Not a valid FAT32 filesystem," however. Try doing this: dd if=/dev/ad1s1 of=temp bs=512 count=1 od -bc temp | head The first few bytes of the filesystem should be 'aa55' (or 55aa, I forget), and not 'NTFS'. :-) -- Doug White | FreeBSD: The Power to Serve dwhite@gumbysoft.com | www.FreeBSD.org
