I recently successfully installed FreeBSD 2.2.6. I have now added an Adaptec 1542B SCSI controller to my mother board. Quick question: Do I now need to edit & recompile the kernel I'm using? I edited the GENERIC one and am using a custom one. Thanks for any & all help/advice!
