The arrows seem to work OK when it NumLock is off. Vi is kinda testy when it comes to the arrow keys. I just tried it and it got unhappy, although this is to a 2.2.6 machine via ssh. I think the termcap is munging it, but it does do it with stock xterm. It works okay on the command line though.
