Hi Lutz,

backing out that change fixed it, apart from the brightness regression. I h=
ave
a hunch that the brightness regressed earler, I remember noticing that load=
ing
acpi_video and setting hw.acpi.video.lcd1.brightness didn't have any effect
sometime after the i915 import.
