Hello, Recently, I got a PC, MICRON millennia XKU. The following is the more detailed information about the PC: Processor Type: Pentium II Processor Speed: 266 MHz Total Memory 64 MB DISK 6449 MB CDROM -- SONY CD-ROM CDU771 Disk Drives -- Generic IDE DISK TYPE 40 -- Generic NEC FLOPPY DISK -- IOMEGA ZIP 100 DISPLAY Adapters -- Diamond Viper V330 Floppy Disk Controller -- Standard Floppy Disk Controller Hard Disk Controllers -- Interl 82371AB PCI Bus Master IDE Controller -- Primary IDE controller (dual fifo) -- Secondary IDE controller (dual info) Keyboard -- PC/AT Enhanced Keyboard (101/102 Key) Modem -- Sportster 56000 Fax Internal PNP Mouse -- Microsoft PS2 Mouse with Wheel Network Adapters -- 3Com Fast EtherLink XL 10/100Mb TX Ethernet Adapter Ports -- Communications Port (COM1) -- Printer Port (LPT1) Sound, video and game controllers -- YAMAHA OPL3-SAx GamePort -- YAMAHA OPL3-SAx Sound System ... USB -- Interl 82371AB PCI to USB Universal Host Controller -- USB Root Hub When I boot the system with FreeBSD 2.2.5 boot floppy, the installation process hang after displaying messages as shown before. Even though I resolved (?) the conflicts during the installation, I could not make BSD installed on the PC that I can access. Any help or advise will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
