In FreeBSD version 5.2.1, I used the following in the "loader.conf" file:

hw.ata.ata_dma=1
hw.ata.atapi_dma=0

I was wondering if that is still applicable in the latest version; i.e.,
5.3. In addition, would it be possible for me to build a new kernel with
this support already built into it?

Thanks!
