* ld.so: fvwm: libXpm.so.4.5: Undefined error: 0 What does "ldconfig -r | grep Xpm" say? It may be that the shared library cache is screwed up. Either try (as root) ldconfig /usr/lib /usr/local/lib /usr/X11R6/lib (and any other directories you have shared libraries in) or reboot your machine and see if it works. Get back to me if it doesn't.
