I opened up glob.h, went to the GLOB_BRACE line, and I found a little backslash above it on a line by itself. I have no idea how it got there, but my best explanation is too many beers and a bad keystroke when I placed the file there in the first place. Thanks to vi, I noticed the slash and killed it.
