            Bug ID: 264036
           Summary: Man page interface is broken
           Product: Documentation
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Many People
          Priority: ---
         Component: Website
          Assignee: doc@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: grog@FreeBSD.org

The man page search does not work correctly. A search for (in my case) geo=
m or
glabel fails, gpart is redirected to a man page for gmap ("Scotch user's
manual"). In each case the selection is "FreeBSD 13.1-RELEASE and Ports", =
and
while this can be overridden, the web interface forces it, so
https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=3Dgpart&apropos=3D0&sektion=3D0&m=
anpath=3DFreeBSD%2b13.0-RELEASE&arch=3Ddefault&format=3Dhtml
(which works) is automatically changed to
https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=3Dglabel&apropos=3D0&sektion=3D8&=
manpath=3DFreeBSD%2b13.0&arch=3Ddefault&format=3Dhtml
