I only want it to accept => connections for outgoing mail from engulf.com. = =Have you tried Sendmail 8.8's anti-spam provisions? You can get them =from sendmail.org. We run them here and have found them very functional =/ flexible. Look into /usr/src/etc/mail (or /etc/mail if you have a recent install) -- its all there with instructions, a file with rules ready to be put into /etc/sendmail.cf and makefile which updates the spammer databases.
