I updated to include your latest change to isa_pci.c and built a
GENERIC kernel to see if there was a problem with my configuration.
There was no change to the problem.

Attached are boot messages from a working kernel and boot -v messages
from the new kernel that does not work. As you will note, and as I
said earlier, dc0, dc1 and pcm0 are just not seen by the new kernel.
(GENERIC, of course, does not include bktr code, but when I built my
usual kernel with your new code the bktr device was not seen either.)
The common denominator among these peripherals, AFAIK, is that they
represent the devices plugged into PCI card slots on the MB. All the
devices built into the MB or attached to integral MB ports (i.e. the
mouse) seem to be properly detected.

Let me know what other tests I can do.
