I set up 3.3-R on my Asus P2B-DS system that is configured as follows: 1 4GB IDE 1 CDrom IDE 1 4,5 SCSI wide (onboard scsi) 1 CD-R SCSI (pci scsi controller) 128MB ram The installation process went ok, but when I started for the first time I got error that told me: Changeing root to da1s1a can't find root device Bootloader states 1:da(1,a) I have changes at the bootloader prompt to 1:da(0,a) kernel Then it works. What is wrong? TIA Thordur Ivarsson To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
